Unique fragrance unlike no other (except TF Plum Japonaise, they're brothers) !! But what really gets me is the musk in the drydown. It's excellent, that said, it's not the powerhouse I thought it would be.

On my skin, the fragrance opens with a creamy blackberry smothered in resins. The scent is pleasing but surprisingly not strong enough even at EDP concentration. This one is elegance in a bottle and for high-status seeking professionals. Likely an older male I have recently purchased this fragrance given all the high praise this fragrance receives.I will not dissect it down to the specific notes, but in general terms it is a mix of sweet, woody, and spicy notes. As others said it is very complex and multilayered. One can easily appreciate the quality with the opening notes.Transforms beautifully right through the dry down... Multiple wearing is required to truly appreciate this gem.

never boring and I can’t stop inhaling trying to get a whiff. A well-balanced perfume well-balanced (Not obvious for a composition With so many ingredients and in addition those which are the most difficult to Harmonized to know the spices) ... I get blackcurrant but also a spicy/dirty vibe too. The opening was not very pleasant for me and had a very middle eastern vibe although it did improve a bit but i guess this one just doesn't fall into my taste. this scent was reformulated even in his friction cap version, the version I have is a poor performer and has to be oversprayed for a decent performance, interesting patchouly and incense combination..bottle is nearly over and it won't be replaced....

So to all you guys who own a bottle of or are considering buying a bottle of Jubilation XXV you are or will be wearing the true king of mens fragraces.

Also i advise you to try or even blind buy a bottle of Jubilation XXV's powerful brother who takes care of all the middle eastern places affairs also known buy the name Amouage INTERLUDE. A modern Oriental chypre in a way that only Amouage can do right, this luminous beauty mixes in a myriad of notes yet comes off as relatively light and airy.

The drydown is a pleasant mix of, to my nose, very dry cedar and just a touch of the previous sweetness. I will follow up with note details after wearing this a few more times. Delicious, sweet, smokey, fruity , woody, oudy, floral and spicy all in one.

A fascinating fragrance nonetheless, I'd be very interested to hear if anyone has suggestions regarding a scent that excludes/tones down that opoponax party while still keeping the rest of it. An update: This smells really good on clothes; less resins, more berry. I’m at hour 6 and it’s still DEFINATELY present on the skin but at this price, I should be radiating this lovely scent for a few more hours. Based on the scent profile and the reviews I expected this one to explode with unique smells and fill the room with the essence of an exotic garden ... In fact it was very underwhelming and reminded me of just another basic mainstream designer frag. you think that because of all of the notes it will come off as an obnoxious mess, but it never does. longevity is 10 plus hours and projection is appropriately in the medium range.

PS: I do find Aventus to be a great tropical fragrace i may even be buying a full bottle soon. I was trying to be amusing and i was tying to have a little fun.). In this case, the notes are orange, coriander, labdanum, tarragon, olibanum, blackberry, guaiac wood, cinnamon, bay leaf, honey, orchid, rose, clove, celery, opoponax, patchouli, myrrh, cedar, musk, oakmoss, ambergris, Oud and immortelle (phew! Unlike many other offerings from this line, although the juice has enormous lasting power, it is moderate in projection and sillage.
