Moving along we have a cracking photo of MARSH MILLS in PLYMOUTH showing the LAIRA BATTERY and EFFORT FORT.
Both now largely overgrown, but intact especially below ground, you can easily see the strategic location of these fortification works. Then a very detailed and busy image of MOUNT WISE, DEVONPORT, PLYMOUTH showing that once it was public swimming pool area , which it still is, but not looking like this!
