We were nice and warm, dry in heavy rain, and kept the outside windows closed, but the inside windows a quarter open. One tip is to extend the legs half way, throw the fly over, and then extend the legs fully. As soon as Coleman release a side-wall, I'll be sure to let you know.
In regards to putting them up, while it's a different process, they are both relatively easy to erect.G'day Yee, There is no perfect fitting groundsheet for the Coleman Instant Up Gold 10P.However, my best recommendation would be for an Oztrail Ultramesh Tarp in the 3.65 x 6.1 m size. You'll need to manage the excess tarp by either folding it under the tent or my recommendation would be to peg through it and allowing it to cover areas of the vestibules and awnings.Just ensure you reinforce the holes you create (glue, stitching, tape) with the pegs and then set it up each time to peg through the same holes.Once you have a hang of what needs to happen (our videos can help with this), it's pretty straightforward.
And in the instance that something doesn't go as planned, we'll be here with spare parts, solutions and ideas on how you can continue to get the absolute most out of your purchase.
Anyone regularly camping in areas of high wind such as unprotected coastal locations may want to consider something a little more aerodynamic.
~ Ben This tent was so easy to put up I spent 10 mins thinking to myself what did I do wrong surely it's not this easy!
The best part is you can quite easily set it up and put it down with just one person. Just wanted to say a big thank you to Dave and Brock from Snowy's for their help yesterday.
Dave helped me figure out that this was the tent I wanted, but due to al the reviews mentioning the track at the bottom of the divider, I was still reluctant.
The tent is tall and has a large surface area, I think in winds much more than 40km and we would have been in trouble. Overall a good product so far and I'm happy with the purchase at that price.
